Jungheinrich launches first forklift subscription service in intralogistics
Jungheinrich's new Full Flex Rental forklift subscription will enable small and medium-sized companies to adapt their forklift fleets quickly and flexibly to market and business developments.

Hamburg - Jungheinrich is introducing the first forklift subscription in intralogistics. Full Flex Rental gives the company's customers the opportunity to manage and continuously optimize their truck fleets more easily and flexibly. The subscription package is based on a rental contract that can be cancelled at any time after a minimum term of twelve months at no extra charge. Jungheinrich Full Flex Rental thus offers maximum flexibility compared to classic leasing or long-term rental. The truck subscription includes a comprehensive after-sales package including all maintenance and servicing work as well as cover against machine breakage. Every Full Flex Rental customer also receives access to the new Jungheinrich FMS fleet management system.
13 different Jungheinrich forklift types can be rented via Full Flex Rental. Rental customers can choose from trucks with powerful lithium-ion technology as well as conventional lead-acid batteries. Almost every application in the warehouse can therefore be flexibly covered by Jungheinrich Full Flex Rental.
"The flexibility offered by our Full Flex Rental forklift subscription is an absolute novelty on the market and is particularly interesting for our customers in economically volatile times. With Full Flex Rental, everything fits: forklift, rental period and price," explains Christian Erlach, Jungheinrich Board Member for Sales.
Jungheinrich already introduced Full Flex Rental in Spain in 2022. The rental model is now also available in selected German branches and in Ireland. A gradual introduction in other countries, with a focus on the European core markets, will take place later in 2024.
Long and short-term rentals are nothing new in intralogistics. With the Full Flex Rental forklift subscription, Jungheinrich now combines the advantages of both worlds and offers its customers a wide range of solutions that provide financial flexibility and planning security in a volatile business environment. The option of renting instead of buying is becoming increasingly important, as seasonal peaks in demand can also be sensibly covered with rental vehicles. "Thanks to Jungheinrich's rental solutions, our customers have the flexibility to get the right trucks at the right time. With Full Flex Rental, we are once again expanding our range of customer-oriented solutions thanks to a particularly innovative product," says Erlach.
A total of 13 different truck types are available via Full Flex Rental. Among them is the new ERD 220i from the Jungheinrich POWERLiNE.
