At the beginning of 2010 Jungheinrich will bring out a new IC engine forklift with hydrostatic drive. Visitors to the drinktec 2009 show in Munich can already view a prototype of the new truck there.
Jungheinrich will be showcasing its new hydrostatic-drive counterbalanced forklift trucks in the smallest lifting capacity class of up to 2,000 kilograms at drinktec 2009, the World Fair for Beverage and Liquid Food Technology, from September 14th to 19th in Munich, Germany. This type VFG 316s-320s truck, which comes to market at the beginning of 2010, is available in a diesel or LPG version. This “mini” hydrostat is the logical extension of the type VFG 425s-435s trucks that were successfully launched on the market last year. The proven concept in terms of the design, drive technology, ergonomics and safety features have all been retained.
In practice, the hydrostatic drive characteristics mean fast and direct acceleration, but also smooth and sleek changes of direction. Since their hydrostatic drive technology uses only a handful of mechanical components, these VFG 316s-320s trucks are service-friendly and low-maintenance. The truck’s Volkswagen motor is extremely quiet, with low fuel consumption and as a result extremely low emission values. The operator’s workplace was designed with ergonomics and driving comfort in mind, including a spacious cab with excellent all-round vision and an adjustable steering column with memory function.
Jungheinrich is among the leading international companies in the industrial truck, warehousing and materials handling sector. As a producing logistics service provider it offers its customers a comprehensive product range consisting of stackers, rack systems, services and consulting for complete intralogistics. The Jungheinrich share is traded on all German stock exchanges.
